For those who like to buy leads here are a few tips that will help you select a good lead company:
1. FRESH. Fresh leads are the best leads and real-time leads are premium leads. It makes sense that the most advantageous time to connect with someone is as soon after they express their interest as possible. Using real-time leads gives you the fastest way of being able to do this. 2. NON-INCENTIVIZED. What does that mean? A good MLM lead is a person who is interested in a home business and has not supplied his contact information in exchange for the chance of winning a contest or getting a certificate good for a 'free' vacation or some other reward. You want leads to be people who want information, not freebie seekers or contest junkies. 3. OPEN. A lot of people are interested in a home business. But if you're in Network Marketing, that isn't enough. A good MLM lead must be open to the concept of Multilevel Marketing, not someone looking to provide a service out of their home. 4. GENUINE. A good MLM lead should be someone who is honestly interested in Network Marketing. In an industry that holds the promise of wealth and freedom, the curious, the frivolous, and the time-wasters abound. Many are called, but few are honest about wanting to do something in MLM! 5. NOT OVERSOLD. If you use exclusive, real-time leads, this isn't a problem. But with larger lists consisting of older names, good leads are people who have not been turned-off by having been contacted too many times. This is one thing a lead source can easily control. 6. 3 Practical Models Quickly Earn & Maximize Google Adsense Revenue

Looking back in time, I could still remember standing in awe and reading the exploits of one adsense guru who was starting a membership service for people keen to maximise their earnings as a google adsense publisher. He claimed to be making over $40K a month from his google adsense revenue and an almost equal amount from affiliate products.
In my mind, I could not help but believe that if he could be so successful, I could also be successful…and everyone can also be equally successful in developing content websites and allowing google adsense to be published on these websites.
Months followed later where I carried out research on Google Adsense, talked to people who were successful publishers, joined a couple of memberships sites myself, read a few ebooks on the subject, spent hundreds of dollars on tools and webpage generating software…the whole works.
My aim was simple - uncover the successful methods and make at least one of these techniques as mine and be equally successful , if not better.
What were my results? Briefly, there were 3 models that could lead to success. There might be more, but these 3 models figured prominently as I carried out my personal private research.
The Content Model

In the content model, a mini site is developed for a niche project. Generally, you would find the keywords for niche topics with a low R/S value, build a theme around these keywords and work out a mini website of around 20 to 50 pages.
The key to such a website is written content.
In many cases, I found reprint rights articles were also used and these were also sites that were successful in bringing in consistent traffic and revenue. Each page is normally written around just one keyword and the entire webpage is tightly SEOed (search engine optimized).
THE SINGLE-PAGE MODEL

In the second model, a one page article forms the website with google adsense on that article.
In order to feature prominently, website promotion is necessary for this model. This is effected by submitting articles to many article depositories and ezine publishers using automated softwares and gathering links in return.
THE NUMBERS GAME MODEL

This is by far the model that was reported to be widely successful.
This model is based on the concept of " Build, Build and Build!". In other words, an incessant non-stop drive to keep on building websites and treating the business as stricly one of providing workable content sites for publishing adsense. However, care must be exercised at all times to follow Google Adsense Terms of Service.
A prominent feature of this model was to use some form of auto generating software such as softwares that can generate directories or portals, the use of RSS and blogging to maintain and update the sites on a daily basis or a series of rotating templates.
Care must also be keenly exercised that the sites must have content, and not merely appear spammy with results scrapped from search engines. One piece of advice from a veteran adsense publisher was that he would run over his sites such that he was clearly satisfied that the web pages were actually pleasing to a visitor and that the webpages were designed for humans.
Often quoted by proponents of Model 3 is that the key to maximizing google adsense revenue and indeed affiliate revenue was to engage in a "numbers game". The more websites you build and commission, the higher is the revenue provided your keyword research is well done. In one case, one publisher claimed that his 65 years old mother could also work on this model by using a RSS system and was earning a good income just a few weeks into the model.
To avoid being a "thin affiliate" and risk being penalised by Google, most sites would add in advertisements from Amazon, or Clickbank and a host of other affiliate programs.

Above all these, you will need a compilation of good resources to assist you in your business as an adsense publisher. Gather the correct resources, personalize the good information and keep working on your model until you reach a good measure of success. Be of good faith, do not falter and you will reach success.

How Search Engines Rank Sites

For the best free targeted traffic results place keywords in your post titles, your category names, the pages URL names, or even a combination of Technorati tags and the text of your permanent links that appear after each post.
The preferred keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. In general, I recommend using a keyword density ratio in the range of 2-8%. Keyword frequency refers to the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase appears within a web page. Keyword density simply is the ratio or percentage of indexable text compared to the number of keywords or keyword frequency.
Remember not place all your key words into a useless lists or nonsense. Many web sites do this but beware. Search engines are getting smarter when spidering pages and processing keywords and key phrases, if they see keywords occurring together in a senseless or garbled sequence most penalize web sites. Some have gone as far as to ban a web site completely, claiming it spamming or spamdexing the search engines.
Try to incorporate as many words as possible, especially in prominent sections, but ensure your writing is coherent and people friendly. This is more important that keyword density.

Every television season finale is a cliff-hanger. As I mentioned popular shows like 24 and Lost end every show incomplete. The same is true of most shows when they go to commercial. It is this torment that will cause viewers to tune back in. they need to get the questions answered and relieve the tension. Zeigarnik was eventually able to prove that people remember unfinished tasks about twice as well as completed ones, and in greater detail.
The tendency to remember uncompleted tasks better than completed ones is known as the Zeigarnik effect.
In addition to being better remembered uncompleted tasks have motivational qualities as well. The desire for equilibrium will drive the organism to complete the task if balance can be achieved through its completion.

Message boards can be a great way to get free targeted traffic. These boards are so effective that I still receive requests and referrals from posts made over a year ago. Message boards will do at least three things for you:
1) get you linked from more sites
2) help you build a name for yourself
3) learn from and help others
Simply search in your favourite search engine for forum and the industry you are in. I am interested in home based business or mlm or network marketing. I simply go to Google and search home based business forums. Doing this will turn up lots of results. It will be in your best interest to pick a forum that is active, has lots of participating members and is well moderated.
Visit thses various boards post messages, meet people, ask questions, share your wisdom, and words of encouragement.
Suggested tips to keep in mind when posting to message boards. Remember you are there to build relationships, you want people to know, like and trust you.
Do not spam: - do not post the same thing over and over
- post something meaningful and relevant to the conversation
- do not advertise unless otherwise specified
- do not participate in negative postings about others (criticize or flame)

There is a phrase in MLM Recruiting that we call the 5 Magic Words of Cold Market Prospecting. These words can open more doors than you ever thought possible. I used them for years, and they opened thousands of doors. They also help recruit a ton of folks.
What would that phrase be?
“Maybe You Can Help me."
These words can open doors, create curiosity, and open the hearts of many people to give you a helping hand in your Network Marketing Business.

What does that mean?
We found that if we didn't try to recruit them right off the bat, but waited till the second meeting or even third, our ratio for success went up. And it went up tremendously. Many people have a tendency to jump into a conversation with a new prospect, without realizing that it may require some time to develop the relationship, and even give it time to BE THE RIGHT TIME to pursue the conversation full force.

Don’t become an MLM Cold Market "ATTACK RECRUITER."
Give your cold prospect room to breathe, and let a rapport start to develop a little. If the prospect is cold to the idea, give it some time. Hold more conversations. The desire to help may be there, but give it time to grow and be revealed. A lot of times, it won't happen immediately, due to the intial lack of any interest on the prospects part, or bad experiences with others.
Wait till the second conversation to bring up your desire to seek them for your business, or who they might know.
This is only professional, and you are giving the relationship time to solidify and then mature into a real possible friendship.

If you jump the gun too quick in MLM Cold Market recruiting, you will end up shooting yourself in the foot.

1) "I am a professional in the Community."
This states an important fact: You are one of them.
And this will create the start of a CONNECTION right off the bat, and also establish who you are to the Cold prospect, from one professional to another. Network Marketing is a profession, and you need to start treating it like one, if you are not.
2) "I am introducing myself."
This sets up an important paradigm. You are taking the initiative to introduce and meet people in the community, and you are a take charge type of person. And it shows you really want to meet folks, as well it shows Leadership.
3) "I love networking with other professionals."
This states one thing: You value other professionals as a resource. And you also show that you appreciate the fact that networking does work in the business world And also that as a resource, a professional has value to you and your Network Marketing business, and vice versa.
4) "Maybe there is a way we could help each other."
This establishes that you are willing to Increase and Improve your prospects business and life. And also you do care about helping people, plus you are showing Potential value right upfront.
5) "Would you be open for coffee sometime?"
This is the proactive part of it, and it simply gives them a chance to engage the budding relationship,or not. Most professionals do have an interest in increasing their business, so you will get some interest, and some time with many of them.
But if they say they are not interested?
Be a professional, and thank them for their time and wish them well. And see if you can get a card for a thank you note to send them.
“May I at least have a card in case I run across someone who would want your services?"
Understand that you as a network marketer should be out weekly meeting folks who may need your products and looking for you. But most don't do that as they stay tied to one or two ways to prospect.

One of the first things successful people realize is the old adage, "if it is to be, it is up to me." That is, for you, the fact that your success and your course is up to you. This doesn't mean that you do it all alone. It simply means that you take responsibility for your life and your career.
Too many people today look at opportunity and figure it is up to someone else to make sure they get it. 3. No one else can stop you from getting your dream. Yes, there will always be things that come up and people who may not like what you are doing, but you can just move on and chart your own course. There is great freedom in that.
4. You experience the joy of self-determination. There is no greater pride than knowing you set your mind on something and accomplished it. Those who live with a victim mentality never get to experience the joy of accomplishment because they are always waiting for someone else to come to the rescue. Those who take responsibility get to live the joy of seeing a job well done.
Let me ask you a question: Where will you be in 5 years? 10 years? Or 25 years? Do you know? DO you have an idea? Have you ever dreamed about it or set a goal for it? Are you willing to take responsibility and recognize that, "It is up to you?"
You will be wherever you decide to be in those timeframes. You decide. It is up to you.

Classified ads are one of the most inexpensive ways to advertise your products or service. People read classified ads for a purpose. They are specifically looking for products, services and information that appeals to them.
Unfortunately many people misuse classified ads. They try to sell a product directly from the ad. People read classified ads for a purpose. They are specifically looking for products, services and information that appeals to them.
Instead of wondering, speculating and experimenting with your advertising budget, concentrate on offering free information to attract as many interested prospects as possible for what you have to offer. Realise from the beginning that your ad should serve only one purpose: to target a specific audience consisting of people who need and want what you have to offer.
The Best Way to Use a Classified Ad Is As a Two Step Process.
1. You place a classified ad in your local newspaper/magazine. The ad should be simple and straight to the point. It should then direct readers to a website or to call a phone number of your answering machine.
2. Your customer will either visit your website or dial the number where they will get a powerful sales message. At the end customers are directed to send an order to the address you give on the website/tape or they can leave their contact details.
An example of such classified ad would be:

The best advice in placing classifieds is to follow the leader. Find where other goods in your category are being sold and do the same. Although your product must have an appeal different than the others, stay with the same pack and advertise in the same publications.
If you do not charge anything in the classified ad, you will get far more responses from the ad for free information than you will for goods at any price. Charging a small fee to cover postage or the cost of the inquiry will never make you break even - people won't be bothered.
Test Test Test!
The most important element in mail order advertising is to test. Not only do you need to find out if your product will sell, but you have to find out what the best price is. You have to test the magazines. One may not draw as many responses as another. Or, after three months, it may not seem to pull at all. Then switch to another publication.
Don’t be too hasty in dropping a publication, however. Sometimes it takes the repeat insertions of three or four months to get the proper percentage of response. People become more secure with a repeat ad or they may pass it by the first or second time until they get around to writing for information.
Keying the Address
How do you determine what inquiry response came from which ad? You code the company name or street address so you can determine what ad pulled the response. The simple key is a two part letter and number code. The letter stands for the name of the publication and the number represents the month the ad appeared. The best way to key is to add the code to the address in the form of department, division or suite number.
Writing Classifieds
The best way to prepare copy is to first write about your products/services at length. List all the major benefits and features. What sticks out? What is so great about your product? What can it do for the reader who will take the time to write for more information? How can your product help? Will it show how to earn money, does it offer self-improvement, can it help accomplish something appealing and significant?
Choose a powerful heading that points out the most significant aspect of your product. Follow up with a few words or details and finish with a request to contact for more information. The best word in a classified is "free", but you must follow up with something free.

Absolutely, Amazing, Bargain, Beautiful, Colossal, Confidential, Discount, Easily, Endorsed, Exciting, Exclusive, Expert, Guaranteed, Immediately, Interesting, Latest, Outstanding,, Proven, Quality, Successful, Superior, Tested, Valuable, Wonderful.
Close your ad with an action-getting phrase, such as:

Responding to Enquiries
Once you start getting responses from the classified ads, you should send out your sales literature immediately, definitely within one week. The goat is to convert the inquiry into a sale and convert the sale into pure profit.
Your sales literature can be a one-page pitch for your product. It doesn't have to be an expensive colour catalog. As you get going, you may prepare a sales package and a series of follow-up offers.
Follow up sales are where you are going to make your fortune. Your classified draws the inquiries, the first order establishes a good customer and the rest of the orders are pure gold.
The Response Package
A typical mail order package - called a conversion - consists of a personal letter, a brochure, an order form and a return envelope. Always start small. A simple one-page offer can work as well as a fancy catalog. After you've built up a few good selling products, you might print up a catalog
How to Prepare Sales Literature
The sales letter promotes you as well as your product. It is a personal appeal to a potential buyer. You want the person to feel special and have a reason not only to look through the rest of the literature, but to buy your product.
The appearance of the sales letter is the most important aspect. It should be on company letterhead, cleanly printed and inviting to read. Write the sales letter as though you are writing to a friend - keep it direct and personal. Present yourself and your product as worthwhile, honest and desirable.
Follow through on the appeal, amplifying why the product is desirable. Emphasize its value to the reader. Build credibility. Answer the questions - will it make me a better or richer or more secure person? Can it prevent worry, poverty, illness? Why should anyone want to have it?
You should include a guarantee in all your ads and sales literature and you must honour. Never send inferior merchandise and deliver a complete product.
It is only through satisfied customers that you will get repeat business and it is through repeat business that you make more money.

The gold rush of this century is booming. People are rushing to the Internet to get their piece of the pie. The Internet is the place to be - Right? With the big fall out of many dotcom companies, it could be that their marketing approaches may be missing a few important items. One of them is running their marketing by the numbers.
Running them by the numbers? What does that mean? If you want to succeed in business, you need to know the facts about what is working and what is not working. The common approach for most Internet and non-Internet marketers is to throw money at something to see if it will stick. If it doesn't, they move on to the next opportunity. Sound familiar?
The fact is marketing any product is possible if you know the numbers behind your marketing approach. Now before you begin to yawn too big, we will show you some very important simple calculations that can make a big difference in your marketing success.
To be successful in marketing your business online, you need to be able to calculate three numbers. They are the
· cost per visitor
· sales conversion rate
· dollars earned per visitor.
With these three numbers, you will be able to determine the effectiveness of any marketing campaign.
How do you determine these? Let's take them one at a time.
Cost per visitor is determined by the cost of a marketing campaign divided by the number of visitors the campaign sends to your web site. Let's take a look at two different approaches and calculate the cost per visitor. This example will show you a common error made by most Internet marketers. They assume that buying a lower cost per name they advertise is more cost effective.
Many marketers want to market to as many people as possible for the lowest cost. Now this is a good thing from the standpoint of budgeting. However, many marketers run their whole marketing campaign budget strictly off the cost per name basis which will usually put them out of business.
We have tested many types of lists on the Internet over the 9+ years we have been marketing. So we know the typical results that one can expect from various types of lists. Many marketers will consider using "opt-in" lists which are really nothing more than a list of email addresses gleaned off of web sites via a software program. They advertise their lists as targeted opt-in lists and sell them for ridiculously low prices (under one cent a name). They will even send out the emails for you from
their bulk email server in some foreign country. They may charge something like $99 for 300,000 people. They advertise their lists via hype and greed, claiming that if you have a 0.1 percent response how much money you can make. The reality is that these lists have a very low response rate of 1 to 5 out of 100,000 (0.001 to 0.005 percent response rate).
Since many of these low price lists are emailed via a foreign bulk email service, you will get about 10 to 20 or more complaints of spam to your ISP. So make sure you have money budgeted for the shut down of your site while you attempt to find someone willing to host your domain. Also your domain name will probably get black listed on the Spam Cop sites on the web. We do not want you to find this out the hard way, so we are telling you all the facts up front. Costs for spam complaints could be as high as $500 per email sent. Some states have a $50,000 limit on the penalty. So if you are operating your marketing budget on the cost per name basis, make sure you factor in potential unsolicited email complaint costs into your budget.
On the other hand, there are TRUE targeted opt-in lists. These lists cost money and time to develop. The company that developed the lists has documented the people joining the lists and the people are familiar with the company sending them the emails. They can use their ISP service in any country because the people on the lists welcome their
email. It may have cost the person who developed the list up to a dollar or more per name. So when they have a list of 100,000, it could have taken them a year or two and an investment of up to $100,000 to build this list. These types of lists are much more responsive. Typical response rates can vary between 3% and 10% depending on the list
and the ad copy.
Now let's look at the cost per visitor for each list using the typical response rates. In the first list the cost per email sent is 0.0033 cents. That is determined by dividing $99.00 by 300,000. But that is not the important number.
The one you want to know is the cost per visitor. Using the typical response rate of 1 to 5 per 100,000, you would have between 3 and 15 people visit the site. This would give you a cost per visitor of $6.60 to $33.00. This is determined by dividing $99.00 by 3 and 15.
The TRUE targeted opt-in list would give you between 30 and 100 visitors. If we calculate the cost per email sent, it is 14.9 cents. But the more important number is the cost per visitor. This number is between $1.49 and $4.97.
When we look at the cost per visitor, you will see that the TRUE targeted opt-in list is the best approach and will give you a better return on your investment. In fact, choosing the bigger, cheaper list costs you more in the long run. That is why many people will do an advertisement to these cheap lists and say that marketing on the
Internet does not work. The reality is they used the more costly, less targeted list.
The second number you need to calculate is the sales conversion rate. This is determined by knowing how many visitors it takes to your site to get one sale. For example, if you have 1,000 visitors to your site and you get 10 sales, you know that your site is converting 1 out of 100 visitors into customers. (Sales conversion rate
is the number of sales divided by the number of visitors.)
The sales conversion rate is a VERY important number to know. By knowing this, you can determine the success or failure of a marketing campaign. Here's why…
Once you know your sales conversion rate, you can…
1) Know how much you can afford to pay for advertising.
2) Know if a change to your web site is good or bad.
The sales conversion rate will let you calculate the dollars earned per visitor (the third vital number you need to know). Let's say you sell a product for $100 dollars. Your sales conversion rate is 1 out of 25. Now you divide $100 by 25 visitors to see that you will earn $4.00 per visitor to your site. Once you have determined
this number, you know how much you can afford to pay for your marketing campaigns.
If you know that you earn $4 for every visitor to your site, how much can you afford to pay per visitor to your web site? $4 or less. Now you know what to pay for marketing campaigns. Let's say you have been approached by someone who has a TRUE opt-in list of 100,000. You can test a small mailing of 1,000 or 2,000 and see how many
visitors it generates to your site. If you find that your cost per visitor is under $4, you would probably want to send your ad to the whole list. Do you see the power and control you have by knowing these numbers?
The other thing you can determine is how changes to your web site have impacted your sales. Let's use the same example of $4 per visitor. You want to test to see if revising your order page will impact your sales. You set up a new order page and then collect your data. You find out that your conversion rate is now 1 in 20 which translates to $5 per visitor. You know that the change was a good one.
On the other hand, if you make a change and see that your sales conversion rate drops to 1 out of 40, you know that the change was a bad one and you revise the order page back to the original one.
Another thing that having these numbers can do, is help you determine the success of your ad copy in your emails sent. If you want to test headlines or ad copy, you could send two different ads to the same list. (We are assuming
a large list where you can run small tests of 1,000.) If one ad generates 50 visitors and the other ad generates 20 visitors, you know which one pulls the best. In fact, you have the dollars per visitor calculated at $4.The first ad would generate $200 per thousand and the second one
$80 per thousand.
Many people do not want to take the time to evaluate these numbers. In fact, many Internet marketers are not really marketers. They are playing a numbers game similar to the lottery. They want to buy as many tickets for as cheap as they can. They hope that by having 300,000 tickets, they will get that one visitor who will make a difference in their business. Just as most people lose money in the lottery, the same thing happens to people who look for cheap ways to market their business without knowing
their numbers.
To be successful, you need to throw off the lottery mentality and become a TRUE Internet marketer. Marketers know their numbers. They know when their campaign has been successful. They know how much they can spend on various
types of advertising and make a profit.

All successful business have marketing MLM, network marketing and small home based business are no different. The goal is the same as well, that is to attract potential customers, make them a customer then turn them into repeat customers.
The written word is powerful if used correctly. Keep this in mind when writing ads for your MLM, network marketing or small home based business. You ad copy has the power to attract the traffic you are looking for. Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you create you marketing material. Follow these simple guides and you will attract more people and achieve better results.
Effective web copy begins with an understanding of what the objective of your web site. Do you want the visitor to make a purchase, or have them sign up for your newsletter, or build a relationship?
After you know what your objective is you need to know your audience. Create a customer profile of your target market. Try to understand how they think. Understanding their problems will give you a better idea of what you have to offer them. If you are promoting an MLM your target market may be related to the business you the product. You should not promote mixed markets in one ad. If you want to focus on the home based business opportunity find out what the needs, desires, income expectations, likes and dislikes of you targeted market. Think about these factors:
- age
- sex
- financial situation
- what excites them
- most pressing concerns
- their motivations
Every ad copy needs a Unique Selling Position (USP), something that sets them apart from other competing businesses. A statement of 2-3 sentences explaining what is different from everybody else. This is to set you apart from your competition. This must be one of the first or most prominent things your visitor sees.
How do your products help your target market, focus on the benefits. The answer to that question needs to be answered as clearly and concisely as possible or you will stand to lose that visitor.
You only have a few seconds to grab your visitors attention. Place the most important or beneficial points at the top of the ad. As the ad, article or web content continues the less important information follows. Think of it as an inverted pyramid.
Draw attention to the content you want to emphasize. Bullets, numbered lists, boldface or coloured font make text jump off the page.
Keep your sentences simple. You are not writing to
Impress, you are writing to inform. Use language that a young teen easily understands. The tone is not to be condescending or insulting just plain easy to follow language. Use the active voice instead of a passive one.

Remember speak to not at your visitor.
Eliminate the any excess text. Keep your sentences short and snappy. Remove any filler sentences that contain.
Revise your web copy after taking a break. Come back to it several hours or a even a few days later. This allows you to see it from a different viewpoint. You are after able to improve your copy after a break.
